Over the years Embecosm has worked with many companies. Some are well known multinationals, but we also work successfully with small specialist players in this field. In many cases we are working on yet to be released products, about which we cannot speak publicly. However here are some of our customers, where our work is public.

Adapteva
Adapteva has developed a revolutionary many-core embedded computing platform for applications requiring ultra high floating-point performance with minimal power consumption.
Embecosm developed the GNU tool chain for Adapteva, which was recently adopted as part of the public release of GCC 4.5. Our work also involved integrating the tool chain with models of the design, allowing firmware development to start before silicon was available.
Atmel
Atmel® Studio 6 is the integrated development platform (IDP) for developing and debugging Atmel ARM® Cortex™-M processor-based and Atmel AVR® microcontroller applications.
Atmel® Studio incorporates cycle accurate models of processors generated using Verilator, the open source Verilog to C ++/SystemC modeling tool. Embecosm provides ongoing development and support for Verilator, including SystemVerilog 2009 coverage.
ORSoC AB
ORSoC is a fabless ASIC design & manufacturing services company, providing RTL to ASIC design services and silicon fabrication service. ORSoC are specialists building complex system based on the OpenRISC processor platform.
Embecosm provided a commercially robust implementation of GCC for the OpenRISC 1000 architecture, which is used to run the Linux system in NASA’s TechEdSat, launched in July 2012 and now deployed to the International Space Station.
Synopsys
Synopsys’ DesignWare® Processor IP includes the DesignWare ARC™ EM, ARC 600 and ARC 700 families of 32-bit processor cores, as well as the DesignWare ARC Sound and ARC Video solutions.
Embecosm engineers have developed the latest versions of the GNU tool chain for Synopsys ARC processors. We are also able to provide custom modeling services under the ARC DesignWare Access program to users of the processor’s extensible instruction set architecture.
